Title 1

Hunt Middle School Home, School, and Community Action Plan

Hunt is committed to fostering strong family and community engagement through transparent communication and inclusive practices. The Continual Achievement Plan (CAP) and budget will be available at all times to ensure openness and accessibility. Parents will be kept informed of student achievement and assessments in a timely manner, including dates and results of standardized tests, and all communications will be provided in the home language upon request, with translation and interpretation services available through the district. Parent/teacher conferences will be held twice a year at convenient times to accommodate working families, with a student-led reflection component included in the spring conference. A parent representative will serve on the school’s SCDM team to review, revise, evaluate, and share the CAP annually. To strengthen the school community, family engagement activities will be organized throughout the year, providing opportunities for families and community members to participate in student learning through events such as the Sasquatch Social, Community Project, Showcase of Learning, High School and Beyond Week, transition learning for incoming 5th and 8th graders, and sharing reflection collections. An activity calendar will be posted on the school website at the start of the year and updated regularly. Additionally, the school will collaborate with feeder schools to create a comprehensive transition plan and provide families with community resource information to support student success.
