Meet Hunt's Principal & Assistant Principal

Welcome to Hunt Middle School, where every student has the opportunity to find their voice, express themselves, learn new concepts, and excel in their strengths. As an International Baccalaureate (IB) program, we explore eight subjects each year, using project-based inquiry learning to foster a deep understanding and love of learning.

Our fantastic staff is caring, creative, and dedicated to including all students in the educational process. At Hunt, we work hard to provide a rigorous academic experience, but we also make time for fun and enrichment through the arts, ASB events like pep assemblies and socials, and engaging field trips. Additionally, we enhance the middle school experience with hands-on activities, guest speakers, spirit days, and community partnership classes.

In addition to quality instruction, we emphasize social-emotional learning by teaching students the components that align with our IB learner profiles and IB Approaches to Learning. We understand that middle school students are still developing their regulation skills and managing their awareness of themselves and others. Therefore, we build a community of inclusiveness where all students can feel successful. We emphasize restorative practices as a tool to teach students how to manage conflicts and relationships with their peers.
